2018: The year of bold PR campaigns

Let's chat
Senior Digital PR Strategist. Joined Impression in 2016.
Before joining the digital PR team at Impression, I gained three years of experience working as a journalist – and later a business correspondent – on a daily regional newspaper. When I was ready for a new challenge I decided to move across to the ‘dark side’ to help companies combine traditional PR activities with digital PR, for the SEO benefit. Journalism and PR go hand in hand, and having spent time as a reporter I have a better understanding of what journalists like (concise, relevant pitches) and what they don’t like (phone calls, for the most part).
Day to day at Impression, no two days look the same and that’s the beauty of working in PR; it can include anything from speaking to clients and journalists to ‘pitching’ and everything in between – ideation, research, writing, media lists etc.
Something that I’m proud of:
As a journalist by background, I love nothing more than using the art of writing to shine a spotlight on the companies I work with. Even after being in the industry since 2013, I still get such pleasure out of seeing my clients featured in their ‘dream publications’ – it’s a very rewarding job!
Outside of work:
I enjoy films, books, eating out, family time – I’m a real home bird at heart!
