Impression has officially been ranked at number 17 in the newly revealed Prolific North Top 150 Agencies ranking for 2026!
Since launching a new northern base of operations in Manchester last year, we’ve been contributing to the region’s flourishing agency sector by supporting brands across the North.
This is the first time Impression has been featured on Prolific North’s top agencies list, and being positioned 17th out of 150 gives our folks in Manchester the recognition they truly deserve. Ownership, fiscal turnover, headcount, services, key clients, and more were taken into account by the judging parties.
Prolific North has combined its digital, PR, and integrated agency lists, which have been running for over a decade, into one definitive, unified Top 150 ranking. Backed by the Alliance of Independent Agencies and compiled alongside independent research partner Mustard, the new list offers a fresh look at the businesses driving the region’s thriving agency sector.
Following research by Prolific North’s partners, it was found that the agency landscape in the North is booming, with the top 150 agencies generating a combined turnover of £1.4bn. Securing a top 20 spot in such a competitive, profitable market is an incredible milestone for us.
This achievement is a massive testament to the hard work of our team and the continued trust of our fantastic clients. As the research shows, the boundaries between creative, digital, media, and strategy have become increasingly blurred over the last decade as agencies adapt to changing client needs. Being recognised at number 17 validates our commitment to remaining clear on the value we create and the unique role we play for our clients.
A huge thank you to Prolific North for putting together this comprehensive industry list. Congratulations to all the other incredible agencies who made the 2026 list; we’re in excellent company!
