Impression Celebrates New Office at Fothergill House, Nottingham

This article was updated on: 07.02.2022

For anyone who visited us over at our old digs on Stoney Street, you’ll know we had a pretty sweet set up.

With exposed brick and big, industrial piping combined with Chesterfield sofas and more ‘agency’ decor than you can shake a flannel shirt at, we were the epitome of young agency life!

After nearly 3 years of growth, the office simply became too small for us. We knew – as we started holding our meetings in the stair well due to pure oversubscription in our meeting rooms – that something had to give.

Our new space at Fothergill House is exactly what we need. With space to accommodate our growth plans for the next 5 years, it’s perfect for us and provides further testament to our commitment to growing our Nottingham base alongside our London office. And, thanks to the full renovation of the space undertaken over the past two months, it retains the Impression charm thanks to wall decals, bean bags, comfy sofas and some of the best views in town.

For the first 3 years of the 5, we’ll be sharing the space with another fast growth company, Distinct Recruitment. These guys bring a lot of energy and help both job seekers and those looking to fill their vacancies to connect, all based on their ethos of ‘being distinct’ – mirroring our own aspiration to stand apart in our marketplace, too.

The new office, located at 16 King Street, includes large work spaces, standing desks, bean bags, a large kitchen and networking area, four new meeting rooms, a dedicated training space (available for external events, too), a table football, table tennis and, of course, the good old Impression beer fridge. It will accommodate our ambitious growth plans, which continued this week with the addition of 4 new members to the team, and has already changed the way we work, with a lot more space for collaboration and creativity than ever before.

A huge thanks to everyone who joined us last night to celebrate the launch of our new office. We’ll be sharing photos from the event over the next few days.
