It’s like many of the premium pieces of marketing software out there, except it costs almost nothing — just the cost of a web server and some technical know-how.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The only slight problem with Open Source software is that you don’t always find the answer to an issue you’re looking for online, so you have to diagnose an implementation issue on your own.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>So, in the interest of keeping this blog post short and actionable, here’s our situation.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cul>\n\u003Cli>WordPress website installed at example.com\u003C\u002Fli>\n\u003Cli>Mautic installed in a sub folder example.com\u002Fmautic\u002F\u003C\u002Fli>\n\u003Cli>WordPress Total Cache installed on WordPress\u003C\u002Fli>\n\u003Cli>WP Mautic plugin installed\u003C\u002Fli>\n\u003C\u002Ful>\n\u003Cp>So, what might the issue be?\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Well, in my case, mtracking.gif was hitting a 404 error.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Ch2 id=\"mautics-mtracking-gif-404-error-explained\">Mautic’s mtracking.gif 404 error explained\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\u003Cp>The problem lies in this particular installation scenario.
